Rising Drop-Off Fees at Major UK Airports

More than half of the UK’s busiest airports now charge for terminal drop-off, and many have increased prices in the last year.

Some of the most notable changes include:

London Gatwick – Drop-off fees are set to rise to £10 for up to 10 minutes, making it the highest terminal drop-off charge in the UK. London Heathrow – Charges have increased to £7 per drop-off, with strict time limits and automatic camera enforcement. Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh and Liverpool – Fees typically range between £5 and £7 for a short stay, with penalties for overstaying or non-payment.

These charges apply even if you are only stopping for a few minutes to unload luggage.
